How it works

From first call to closing, in plain terms.

I'm Nick Tenn. I buy established businesses through Tenn Capital, using our own capital. Here's what happens when you reach out.

  1. 1

    A quick call (10 minutes)

Eric, Nick's AI assistant, learns the basics: what you do, rough numbers and what you want from a sale.

  2. 2

    Nick reviews it personally

Nick looks at every business himself, usually within a few business days.

  3. 3

    NDA, then financials

If it's a fit, we sign an NDA before you share anything detailed.

  4. 4

    Offer and close

We make a written offer (an LOI), do our diligence, and close on a timeline that works for you.

What I look for

Size: $500K to $5M in EBITDA.

Track record: five or more years operating, profitable, with clean books.

People: a team that runs things day to day, or an owner open to a transition.

Timeline: every business is different. Once I've seen the numbers, I'll lay out a realistic timeline with you. There's no rush on your side.

Questions owners ask

Is this really confidential?

Yes. Only Nick and his acquisitions team see your information, and we sign an NDA before you share any financials.

Will you tell me what my business is worth on the call?

No. Value depends on the numbers, and we'd rather review them properly than throw out a figure.

Are you a broker?

No. Nick is the buyer, investing through Tenn Capital. There are no broker fees for you.

Why is an AI making the first call?

So every owner gets a call back within a minute, any time. Eric gathers the basics, and Nick takes it from there personally.

Can I talk to Nick directly?

Yes. That's the next step if it looks like a fit. If you'd rather skip Eric, pick a time on the form and we'll call you then.

What if my business is smaller or larger than your range?

Send it anyway. We'll tell you honestly if it isn't a fit.

What happens to my employees?

It matters to Nick, and it's part of every conversation. We won't make promises on a first call, but we'll talk about it openly.
